Applications

Where our equipment works

From teleport uplink chains to spacecraft payload verification, TESART's block upconverters, converters, switch matrices and test systems cover the RF chain of satellite ground segments across five application areas.

01 · Teleports & gateways

Teleports & gateways

Teleport and gateway earth stations carry the uplink and downlink chains for DTH and broadcast distribution, and increasingly serve LEO, MEO and GEO ground segments. TESART supplies the RF chain for these stations — block upconverters, high-power amplifiers, frequency converters and L-band switch matrices — designed and manufactured in-house. L-band switch matrices with hot-swappable modules and remote SCPI/web control simplify maintenance of large installations.

02 · VSAT & enterprise

VSAT & enterprise

VSAT hubs and enterprise remote terminals need compact outdoor RF units mounted at the antenna. TESART's Ku-band block upconverters (2–6 W) and Ku-band PLL LNB cover the full outdoor RF chain, both built for outdoor mounting with automatic lock to an external 10 MHz reference.

03 · Government & defense

Government & defense

Government and defense links run in X-band and military Ka-band. TESART offers standard frequency converters for these bands and high-power amplifiers built to project requirements, backed by an in-house engineering center for warranty, maintenance and repair. RF cable assemblies to 50 GHz complete the interconnect.

04 · Satellite operators

Satellite operators

Satellite operators use TESART's in-orbit test systems to verify payload performance after launch — covering measurements such as G/T, EIRP and transponder frequency response — and to monitor downlink spectrum during operation. Switch matrices and cable assemblies support ground-segment spectrum monitoring and spacecraft control stations, with each IOT system configured for the specific spacecraft.

05 · Mobility

Mobility In development

TESART's MAS flat-panel terminal is an electronically steered Ku-band antenna for GEO connectivity on the move — on trains, ships and road vehicles — with no moving parts and dual-beam operation for two satellites at once. The terminal is currently in development, with a Ka-band version planned.
